Guns 'N Roses - Locomotive

Not so well-known song from the great Guns 'N Roses. Listening to this, I get a feeling I am really in a train rolling to its doom... A very powerful piece! Enjoy!

Red Hot Chilli Peppers - Under The Bridge

Awesome tune from the great funk rock band. This song, released as a single was certified platinum. The video only widened its success. Its B-side was "Sikamikanico", "Search and Destroy", "Soul to Squeeze" and "Fela's Cock". The band became so popular, that this led to the departure of John Frusciante, who prefered Red Hots to remain underground. It's really worth listening, if you haven't yet.

Huey Lewis & The News - Hip to be Square

You like Huey Lewis and the News? Their early work was a little too New Wave for my taste, but when Sports came out in '83, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Huey has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor... In '87, Huey released this, Fore!, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "Hip to Be Square," a song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity, and the importance of trends, it's also a personal statement about the band itself!

I wonder how many of you will get the reference?

Jeff Beck - Drown in My Own Tears

Jeff Beck covers Ray Charles. His main goal, as he says, is that you forget he's actually playing guitar. He just wants to make sounds no one ever heard. What do you think about Jeff Beck's covers? His signature is replacing the vocal with guitar soloing. I find it very creative and pleasant to hear, what are your thoughts?

The Cat Empire - Fishies

A band fusing jazz, funk, rock and salsa into one. How does it come out? Find out yourself. The song I am presenting you today is very energetic, and makes a good start to your day. Worth checking!

Iggy Pop - The Passenger

I am the passenger...
And I ride and ride and ride...
This song is about Iggy Pop and David Bowie, living together in Berlin. Both unable to sleep at night, they ride taxis around the city. At least, that's what Iggy supposedly said to someone commenting on Youtube. Check this one out and find out what it mean for yourself! Warning: it's extremely catchy!
